Committees and Ministries

Getting involved with our parish is one way to give back and to share your talents.  If you are interested in any of the committees or ministries or have questions, contact the leader listed in the parentheses or Deacon Will Yoho.

Parish Committees

These committees meet the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm in the Parish Life Center on a rotating schedule.

Finance Council - manage and steward the parish’s resources in a financially responsible manner (David Ligan)

Facilities Committee - assess, prioritize, and implement buildings and grounds improvement projects (Terry Lahoski)

Parish Council - (not yet formed) provides input on parish's spiritual and pastoral life, promotes the mission of the Church, and ensuring the active participation of the parish community (Deacon Will Yoho)

 

Parish Ministries

Bible Study – learn more of our faith with meaningful scripture study (Darlene Bednarz)

Card – send cards to parishioners acknowledging significant life events (births, deaths, milestone anniversaries, illness) (Betty Derrer)

Choir – enhance the liturgy with sacred and spiritual music (Darlene Bednarz)

Eucharistic Ministers – distribute Communion at Mass and to homebound people (Deacon Will Yoho)

Faith and Fiction – lively monthly book discussion exploring our faith with a variety of authors (Carol Kamphuis)

Lectors – proclaim the readings at Mass (Diane Griffiths)

Servers – assist at Mass and other events (Blessing of the Palms, Stations of the Cross) (Diane Griffiths)

Social – our parish hosts various activities in an effort to get to know one another better thus strengthening our parish family

Volunteer – need service hours or an outlet for your talents?  Opportunities within the parish present themselves throughout the year.  Call for help is mentioned in the Mass announcements and in the bulletins.  Additionally, some of the organizations our parish supports are listed below (Jim Lindway):
